The bank has managed to run one of the best online banking services in a country where hundreds of millions of users use their services. Internet banking has been critical in the growth of the SBI, and the bank has often innovated and introduced a number of new features.
However, with the rise of every internet based service, there is just one concern that rises – more services = more accounts. More accounts = more passwords to remember! Sometimes, the users need to change the password. Changing your SBI Online internet banking account password is not a hard task.
Steps to Reset SBI Online Banking Login Password
Step 1: Go to the official SBI Online internet banking website – onlinesbi.com
Step 2: Go to personal banking, which is on the left side of the page. There would be two options, Login and Login Lite. Login Lite is for those people who are on a slower or unstable internet connection. For the purpose of this particular demonstration, we choose Login. Click on login.
Step 3: On the next page, you will see some instructions from the SBI Online internet banking website, read them, and then click on continue. Fill in your user name and password, and log in to your account.
Step 4: After you log into your account, click on the ‘Profile’ tab on the top.
Step 5: On the next screen you would get a list of options, click on the ‘Change Passwords’ link.
Step 6: On the next screen, you would have to enter your profile password. (Please note that this is your original profile password that you had set when you created the account – this is NOT your login password, and this is NOT your new password).
Step 7: Then, you would be asked to enter your old password, your new password, and re-enter your new password, just to confirm. After filling these details, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Done! Your SBI Online internet banking login password has now been changed.
