One of the best uses of SBI Online Internet Banking Facility is that it makes making payments easier. Instead of doing it the classic way, which is going to a bank and manually doing it by standing in a line for hours, users of SBI Online Internet Banking services can now do it with just a few clicks. Life is much easier with these online services.
While sending money to the users of the same bank or the same branch is an easy process, even sending money to non-SBI account holders too, is quite easy. Let us take a look at the process involved in adding inter-bank, non-SBI beneficiaries for payments outside SBI.
How To Add Inter-Bank Non-SBI Beneficiary
Step 1: Visit the official SBI Online Internet Banking website onlinesbi.com
Step 2: Click on Login on the ‘personal banking’ on the left side of the screen, if you are on a slow connection, click on ‘Login Lite’. For this demonstration’s, we are clicking on Login.
Step 3: Read the SBI Online Banking guidelines, and click on ‘Continue to Login’.
Step 4: Enter your username and password, and log in.
Step 5: After logging in, click on the ‘Profile’ Tab in your dashboard. Click on ‘Manage Beneficiary’.
Step 6: Enter your ‘Profile Password’. Keep in mind this is the second password you had earlier set as your ‘profile password’, this is NOT your login password. Do not enter an incorrect password more than three times as your login can get blocked for 24 hours if you enter incorrect password thrice.
Step 7: After you have entered your profile password, click on ‘Inter bank Beneficiary’.
Step 9: Click on ‘I accept terms and conditions’, and then click on the Submit button.
Your inter-bank (Non-SBI) beneficiary would be added in the next few hours. This is a process which can also be done in the conventional method by visiting the branch, but it is much easier to do it via SBI Online Internet banking services.
